"THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE IS UNIVERSAL, BUT AS MANY AS WE ARE, WE SPEAK IT IN A DIFFERENT DIALECT." Gary Chapman
The basic ways to communicate love are appreciating words, quality time, physical touch, favors, and gifts.
Throughout our lives, we learn a lot from our environment and we accept how we react to them. So it is with the expression of our emotions. Our experiences and personalities determine how we express and receive love. How do we understand that the other is approaching us with love, how do we want to express our own positive emotions?
Because we use and interpret “love tongues” differently, we often misunderstand each other. Messages slip, causing misunderstandings and pain. If you are open to “language learning,” you can learn and use the languages of love appropriately to improve your relationship with your friends, companion, children, or parents. In this workshop, you can experiment with how you speak the languages of love in a safe environment. Movement exercises, interactive connections, verbal feedback will help with experience and understanding.
